The Paracletos organization has always sought to follow Christ’s example of helping those in need and supporting those in difficult situations. Our mission is to be a comfort and support to those who have suffered and we do this through our food bank by providing material aid to refugees.
How do we help?
Our food bank provides basic food items to refugees, striving to provide nutritious and diverse foods to help people stay healthy and strong. We distribute clothing, hygiene products and other essentials to ensure people have everything they need to live with dignity. In addition to material assistance, our volunteers provide information and psychological support to help people cope with anxiety and stress.
Paracletos believes that everyone deserves help and support, especially during the most difficult times in their lives. Our team provides people with comfort and the help they need to live well. Together we can improve people’s lives and show them that Christ’s love and care is always with them.
How can you help?
Paracletos invites all people who care to join our mission. There are several ways to contribute: donations help us purchase food and basic necessities for refugees; volunteering allows you to be personally involved in distributing aid and supporting those in need; spreading the word about our mission to friends and acquaintances attracts more supporters. Your help can make a difference in the lives of many people.
In the words of the Apostle Paul, “Blessed be the Lord, the God of mercy, the Father of all comfort, who comforts us in all our afflictions, so that we also may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction” (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). In serving refugees through our Paracletos organization, we see the great work of God’s mercy and compassion. Our mission is to be a comfort and support in times of trouble, providing not only material aid, but also spiritual support, hope and love. We call upon every person of goodwill to join in this noble cause, so that together we can create a world where every refugee can find shelter and understanding.
